FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a vehicle inspection cost?

The cost depends on the distance, the complexity of the inspection, and the type of vehicle. We’ll provide an exact quote once we have more details.

How long does the inspection take?

Usually 1–2 hours, including a test drive and document review.

Do you work throughout Germany?

Our main area of operation is NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia), but we can travel to other states by arrangement.

Do you inspect cars from dealerships?

Yes, I inspect both private listings and those from dealerships.

Can I request an urgent review?

Yes, if there are available time slots.

Other services and consultations may also be provided, these will be agreed upon separately and included in the contract at the time of its execution.

Have you been in an accident?

If you are involved in a car accident in Germany, you must turn on your hazard lights and place a warning triangle 100 meters from the scene of the accident. If necessary, provide first aid and call the police at 110 and/or the fire department at 112. This is especially important in cases of injuries, serious property damage, and billing issues. In cases of obvious minor damage, the insurance company will also settle claims without a police accident report. However, if you are unsure, we recommend always reporting the incident to the police.

Write down your own evidence.

Take a photo or sketch a diagram of the accident scene. Mark the exact positions of the cars using chalk from your first-aid kit. If possible, prepare an accident report and have it signed by everyone involved. You can obtain the appropriate form from your insurance company.

Under no circumstances should you admit liability prematurely. In some cases, you may lose your insurance coverage.

Don’t wait—contact our expert so they can assess the damage for you. They will also handle all communication with the insurance company.
